After winter holidays, a season of keeping the doors and windows shut against the cold, it feels good to air out the house and start a cleaning operation.

Start with the kitchen
Deep clean the microwave – You can do this by simply letting the steam do the work. You just have to place a bowl of water with a little bit of vinegar and chopped up citrus to loosen debris and deodorize.
Clean coffee filter reservoir – Easy and fast just by running equal parts water and white vinegar through a cycle. Pause it halfway through, let it sit for about an hour, then resume the cycle. Run a few cycles with just water before brewing a delicious pot of coffee.
Clean your stove top by sprinkle this one ingredient to – unplug cooled coils and wipe them down with a wet cloth or sponge. To get rid of grease buildup, coat with baking soda and wipe with a wet cloth.
Continue with the living room
Rub up your carpet’s look and smell by simply sprinkle baking soda on the carpet and vacuum after at least 30 minutes. You can add some drops of your favorite essential oil for an extra fresh touch. For notably stubborn stains, blot the area with club soda on a cloth, then spray it with a 1:1 mix ture of water and white vinegar. Rinse with simply water, and use your hands to readjust the carpet hairs in their natural direction. Dry with a paper towel.
Take a look at the hardwood floors in your cleaning operation. First you’ll need to vacuum or dust. Next, fill a bucket with warm water and add ¼ cup of either white vinegar or all-purpose cleaner. Dip your microfiber towel in the solution, wring it out, and attach it to a mop handle. Be careful not to get your floor too wet while cleaning.
Stop for a little while in bathroom
Unclog your shower head by pouring distilled white vinegar in a plastic bag and fastening it to the shower head with a rubber band. Let it soak for an hour before wiping clean with a wet cloth.

Do a deep clean of your pillows and sheets by washing them on hot water in the heavy duty cycle. Dry in the dryer with wool balls or tennis balls to improve air flow and help get them completely dry.
Sprinkle baking soda on your mattress for at least 30 minutes to eliminate allergens and help you get a better night’s sleep, then slowly vacuum using an upholstery attachment.
Clean out and organize closets by donating things you haven’t worn in over a year, and if you find yourself hesitating, remind yourself that you will have space to add something new.
